Hi everyone, ReNae here. I am so happy to be back.
Making cards is fast becoming one of the most popular hobbies in the world.
There is even have a holiday to celebrate it! And it’s TODAY!
World Card Making Day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday in October. This great creative holiday began in 2006 and was created by Paper Craft magazine as a way to encourage crafters to get a head start on the upcoming holiday season. Now card makers from all over the world make and exchange cards as a way to inspire each other and share ideas and techniques!
And this year with Covid 19, it seems that now more than ever it is important to reach out to fellow crafters and card makers and friends to not only inspire, but to encourage each other.
For my cards this year I selected a gorgeous new paper collection by Prima Marketing called Pumpkin and Spice. This collection is currently on the Fotobella.com’s website and available for Pre-Order.
The absolute BEST way to purchase it is to get the “I want it all!” Bundle. The bundle comes with everything...Pumpkin & Spice Collection 12x12 Paper Pad, 6x6 Paper Pad, 3X4 Journaling Cards, Chipboards, Ephemera, Ephemera, Puffy Stickers, Say It In Crystals (SIIC), Enamel charms, Glitter, Felt pumpkins, Metal charms, Trims, Silicone Mold, 7 packages of coordinating Prima flowers.
For my cards today I created one A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and one Slim Line card (fits in a business size envelope). I matted the cards with rose gold foil paper from my personal stash to match the beautiful foiled chipboard elements, ephemera and paper.
The images in this collection are so beautiful! The hardest part was choosing which images to use! I made these two cards from just ONE sheet of the collection and can’t wait to make more!
