Hello and happy National Poinsettia Day! This beautiful plant dates back to the Aztecs, who used it to produce a red dye, and called it Cuitlaxochitl, meaning "star flower". To honor the passing of Paul Ecke Jr., who is considered the father of the poinsettia industry, the House of Representatives created this day in 2002. Associated with Christmas, I made a card with some Bo Bunny (Christmas Collage) papers from FotoBella.com.
The poinsettia stamp was fussy cut from the Bo Bunny (Christmas Collage) papers. Then I covered the edges with Bo Bunny Stencil Paste (Gold).
I also covered the rest of the paper edges with Bo Bunny Stencil Paste (Gold), and applied it to the Tim Holtz Mini (Poinsettia) Stencil.
Don't have poinsettia's? Try the Christmas section at FotoBella.com!
Beautiful card!!!
