Happy Day, Everyone! Brandy here from goodstuffmama.com and I'm excited to bring you a 15 minute project inspired by my need for a housewarming gift for my daughter's friend!
This recipe book comes together in minutes and despite the fact that many flock to Pinterest for recipes, this book is a great way to pass down personal favorites to someone you love.
I've added Mimi's Peanut Butter Pie and Doug's Famous Baked Beans to the book.
To create this book, I used one sheet of the Carta Bella Our House 12X12 card stock. I chose a sheet that had a gorgeous busy pattern on one side and a toned down pattern on the reverse. I cut the sheet in to 8 3"X5" rectangles, using the busy side for the cover and the calm side for the inside recipe portions.
I used a hole punch to punch the corner of the booklet and then held them together with a binder ring. Then, I embellished the cover using the Carta Bella Tags and Frames Ephemera and the Carta Bella Our House Card stock Stickers. I popped the apple and leaf up with foam tape and then printed the word "Recipes on plain printer paper. That was enough but I still felt the need to add a few Carta Bella Cabin Fever Enamel Dots.
I finished by cutting white card stock at 2.5"X4.5" and adhering to the inside pages so that I had room to write recipes. Finally, I added a brown rope bow to the binder clips and slid it in the mixing bowl set that I purchased for our friend.
