Graphic 45 Garden Goddess Tags

     Hi everyone! Drea here with a tutorial featuring the Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com on this set of tags. I'll also show you how to create an ombre effect with Distress Inks to dye your lace or ribbons.

                       Supplies:                                                                        Tools:

* Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) 12 X 12 I Want It All Bundle            * Blending Tool
* Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) 12 X 12 Collection Pack                   * Border Punch
Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) 12 X 12 Patterns and Solids Pad       * Scissors
Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) Ephemera                                          * Glue/Adhesive
Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) Chipboard
* Graphic 45 (Garden Goddess) Tags and Pockets
* (White Linen) Dylusions Paint (or any other acrylic white paint)
* Distress Inks (Worn Lipstick) (Aged Mahogany) (Mustard Seed) (Fossilized Amber) (Pine Needles) and (Forest Moss)
* White Lace

******************************************
Directions:

1.  Cut 6 pieces of paper from the G45 (Garden Goddess) 12 X 12 Patterns and Solids Pad to measure 7 1/2" X 4 1/4". Use a border punch along the top and bottom edges.

2. Use Blending Tool to apply (White Linen) Dylusions Paint to all of the edges, including the punching.

3. Adhere the larger G45 (Garden Goddess) Ephemera cards to the centers of the cardstock strips.

4. Attach G45 (Garden Goddess) Chipboard pieces with the holes on top, about half way from the tops of the punching. I started with the card with the quote, using it as a measuring guide when adding the others, by lining up the circles.

5. Add some paper strips cut from the G45 (Garden Goddess) 12 X 12 Collection Pack.

6. Now add some of the smaller G45 (Garden Goddess) Chipboard (squares and/or circles) pieces to the paper strips.

7. Add some Goddesses from the G45 (Garden Goddess) Tags and Pockets, and fussy-cut from the papers and/or G45 (Garden Goddess) Ephemera cards.

8. Create an ombre effect with Distress Inks to dye 6 strips of white lace. Simply ink your craft board or stamping block with color of your choice, spray with water, and soak lace in it. Set aside to dry. The pink lace on the left was dyed with Worn Lipstick, and Aged Mahogany on the right.

9. After the strips are dry, dye the ends again with the same ink, leaving the centers alone. The yellow lace on the left tag was colored with (Mustard Seed) Distress Ink, and (Fossilized Amber) on the right.

10. Finally, tie lace through the tags, cut ends, (glue ends to the tag) and dye lace one more time, just along the ends. To color the green lace, I combined two Distress Inks (Pine Needles and Forest Moss), instead of just using one.
