Design Team Project using BoBunny Serenity Collection

The BoBunny Serenity - I Want It All Collection was used by FotoBella's Design Team member, Sarinda Jones to create all of these featured projects. As Sarinda has shown, this sophisticated collection includes all you need to create anything from beautiful scrapbook layouts to unique paper crafts and more.

The Serenity collection is this month's BoBunny I Want It All Membership and includes coordinating supplies such as heavy weight patterned papers, cut-outs, chipboard, stickers, rub-ons, embellishments and more.

Sarinda has provided us with instructions to create these adorable paper fortune cookies!

Fortune Cookie Tutorial

What you will need:
  • Paper Bo Bunny Serenity I Want It All Bundle. I used Serenity Tomoko Side B.
  • Paper circle punch or pencil and scissors.
  • Hot Glue Gun or Ranger Wonder Tape.
  • Fortune Cookie Fortunes…. There is a link below.

STEP 1
Start by tracing a circle on the paper or Punch out a circle. Any circle from about 3-4" works well. These are 3”.

STEP 2
Fold the circle in half, but do not crease the circle.

STEP 3
Hold the paper as shown and begin the folding process. Keep in mind that I had to take the photo, so normally your other hand would be holding the opposite side together.

STEP 4
Bring the two sides together. They look more realistic, if you do not fold them in half, but rather, off-center. You want to do this before you apply adhesive.

STEP 5
I recommend a strong adhesive, because of the pressure on the sides. I used Hot Glue and you could also use two strips of Wonder Tape. Keep the pieces small enough, so they do not show.

I printed off fortunes from this site: Fortune Cookie Sayings. If you are wanting the boxes shown above I used my Silhouette Cameo SD and you can find the templates from Silhouette Shop.

Thanks and wishing you good fortune.
Sarinda
