Hi There! It’s Lynda from Scrapbook with Lynda here again to share another fun project made with the Home for Christmas collection by Carta Bella. The Home for Christmas collection has a wide variety of embellishments including large poinsettia stickers, so I had lots of fun things to work with this month.
Decided to make this scrapbook layout with a poinsettia theme, because Julien wears a poinsettia crown at Christmas time.
I like to group my photos together, as that gives them a big presence on a scrapbook layout. After all the reason we scrapbook is to show off our photos.
Once the photos were attached in a collage, I added a few layers of paper from the Carta Bella Home for Christmas collection behind them. I love the fun feel all these layers of paper give the scrapbook layout.
Poinsettia Embellishment Clusters
The first cluster I created was the title cluster. Placed a sticker from the collection below the photos, then finished the title with letters from the sticker book.
Love it when a collection has coordinating letter stickers like the Home for Christmas collection does.
After the page title was in place, I added this large poinsettia sticker along with a few other stickers to spice it up.
Love how the poinsettia chipboard piece frames the photo and the dimension it adds to this embellishment cluster.
Here I layered another poinsettia sticker with a fun chipboard Christmas tree. So fitting, as some of the photos were taken in front of a huge Christmas tree.
Hope you enjoyed seeing this scrapbook layout using the Carta Bella Home for Christmas collection.
My year long term on the FotoBella Design Team has come to an end. This is my last Design Team project for FotoBella and my last blog post. I hope you have enjoyed all the fun projects I’ve shared with you on this blog over the past year.
