Creating a Quick and Easy Christmas Tree

graphic 45, mixed media, fotobella, home decor, let it snow

Greetings! Chris here and today I am excited to share this quick and easy Christmas tree I created! As a Kid I remember always making crafts creating hand made kids and how much fun it was. I thought this Quick and Easy Christmas Tree project would be perfect for the kids/grandkids to create with you! Maybe even perfect for a class room or girl scout/boy scout club project!

Supplies

Graphic 45 Let it Snow-I Want it All Kit - including Let it Snow 12" x 12" paper pack (2 sheets of 8 double-sided designs and two 6"x12" decorative sticker sheets), 12"x12" Patterns & Solids paper pad (2 of 8 double-sided designs), decorative chipboard, 4x6 & 3x4 Journaling & Ephemera Cards, Die Cut & Tag embellishments, and exclusive FotoBella paper storage box

Glitter Paper, Flat head straight pin, Foam tree base (mine came in a 6 pack), star punch

Quick and Easy Christmas Tree

Start, by cutting several 2 inch wide strips from Patterns & Solids paper pad. Cut these strips into 1 inch wide strips.

Next, Banner cut one edge of each of the strips.

Now, Bend/curl the edges of your banners.

Beginning at the bottom of your tree, layer banners onto tree. As the Graphic 45 papers are 2 sided , it will create the 2 paper effect! Alternate adhering one banner with snowflake side up and the next with snowflakes down. Add adhesive only to the top portion of the banners so that the bottoms can curl up.

Continue layering your banners around and up the tree.

To cover the very top, I cut a few banners in half and layered them over the tree top tip.

Punch 2 stars from glitter card stock and adhere to flat head pin.

Finish your tree by pushing pin into tree top.

I hope you are inspired to get crafty with your family and create your own Quick and easy Christmas Tree!
