I love the idea of mini albums but found myself making them less and less when I started creating Project Life albums, but I knew I still wanted to share all of those beautiful memories and photos in my albums.
I decided it would be fun and easy to create mini albums right inside my Project Life album. When I saw this these gorgeous papers I knew it would be perfect for a little winter fun mini to fit inside my January section of Project Life.
I started with three small page protectors, two 4x6 with pockets and one created from a larger page protector. I then stitched on extra pockets that would flip down, up or over. What I ended with a ready made mini album with a Project Life feel!
Here is the cover. I handcut the tab and layered on the papers and embellishments. I finished with some machine stitching in a soft grey to coordinate with the colors and patterns.

I used pop dots to give each of the little characters a lift. I love how the pages can flip down and you can add photos and/or stories inside and outside.

you can use any of these ideas for your cards, gift tags and layouts, too! Do you do Project Life? Do you create mini albums? I would love to see what you create!
