Wedding Card with Bo Bunny Felicity

Summer is winding down and I find myself heading into the next season with a lot of weddings to attend!  Bo Bunny Felicity collection has some wonderful designs that work well for wedding cards.  Apryl with the FotoBella Design Team greeting you today with wedding card inspiration.

I began by selecting pieces from the Ephemera package:  the papers for the base of the card, the doily,  and the silk flower.

I inked all the pieces, including the flowers, the "Your Special Day" sentiment and lattice piece from the Noteworthy packet.  I also added the beautiful wood accent pieces.  There are a lot of great things including in this collection with lots of project possibilities.  Get yours today from FotoBella.com  and enjoy!

Bo Bunny Dear Santa Holiday Goodie Bag Tutorial

Looking for a fun way to package some holiday goodies?  Do you have any brown paper lunch bags hanging around in your cabinets?  Mix a couple of lunch bags with Bo Bunny's Dear Santa I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com and you've got yourself some really cute holiday goodie bags!  Happy Holidays, Apryl with you today with FotoBella's design team sharing a tutorial on how to make this cute bag.

Supplies Needed:  Dear Santa Bundle-Gift tag paper, Ephemera pack, Combo Sticker Sheet
Adhesive, Dark Brown InkTwine, brown lunch bag, Stickles Glitter Glue

Tools:  Scissors, Ruler, Big Bite or Crop a dile (hole punch)

Step 1:  Gather your supplies from the Bo Bunny Dear Santa bundle

Step 2:  Select your lunch bag.

Step 3:  Fold the top of the bag over so that the flap is approximately 2 1/2 inches.  Be sure that the bottom flap of the bag is face down.

Step 4:  Measure across the flap you just folded in order to place to dots, centered to the flap.  In this case, the flap measures six inches, so I place the dots at 2 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches.

Step 5:  Use the Big Bite, on the large hole punch setting, and punch both holes.

Step 6:  Choose the polka dot paper from the Ephemera pack.  In my case, the paper fits the bag without having to be trimmed down.  Adhere the paper to the bag, leaving the top without adhesive.

Step 7:  Select the Gift Tag Paper from the bundle and fussy cut out three ornaments.

Step 8:  Embellish the ornaments using Stickles.

Step 9:  Thread the ornaments with twine

Step 10:  Tuck the twine behind the top edge of the polka dot paper so that the ornaments dangle down in front of the bag.

Step 11:  Thread the two holes in bag with the green gingham ribbon.  I cut the ribbon to 22 inches.  Tie a bow.

Step 12:  Using dark brown ink, ink everything.  The edges of the bag, the paper, the ornaments.

Step 13:  Below the ribbon, place the "Jingle Bells" sticker from the combo sheet.

And there you have it, a cute little bag.

Once you get started, you'll find it to be pretty simple, and want to make several like I did!  There are several selections of paper in the Ephemera pack you can use, because they all fit the bags perfectly.  Have fun making endless design combinations!  Don't forget to get your Bo Bunny Dear Santa Bundle before it's too late!

Happy Holiday crafting!

#NationalColorDay

Did you know today is National Color Day?

What a great thing to celebrate. After all, color can change our mood, help us remember events and even effect what we taste! Not to mention, be super fun to craft with!

Here are a few fun notes from Color Specialist Leatrice Elseman (http://www.scienceofpeople.com/2013/01/10-ways-color-affects-your-mood/)

What Color Should You Make Your Desktop: Green
What color you choose for your desktop and the colors you choose for your website can greatly affect your productivity. The color green is restful for eyes and produces the least amount of eyestrain. This is a good choice for computer desktops if you are in front of a screen for many hours.

What Color to Wear for a Work Out: Orange
Orange is a color of stimulation and enthusiasm. Orange is a nice mix of red’s passion and yellow’s joy. Research has found that orange increases oxygen supply to the brain, produces an energizing effect, and stimulates brain activity.

What Color to Wear on a Date (if you’re a woman): Red
Red is the color of passion and gets blood pumping. Women can wear this to get their date’s heart racing.

What Color to Wear on a Date (if you’re a man): Blue
Blue is the most stable color. Women love seeing stable men. It is also calming and can help relax both you and your date’s nerves.

What Colors Should You Paint Your Office: Blue and Green
In 1999, researchers at Creighton University found that colors significantly influence employees’ emotions and efficiency. Workers in blue offices felt the most centered, calm and hopeful towards their work. Since blue can lower heart rates and green reduces anxiety and is associated with money, a combination of blue and green is best for the workplace.
