Simple Stories Autumn Splendor Card Duo

So happy to be here with you and share my first project as a Fotobella design team member. Today I’m sharing two quick and simple cards using the gorgeous Simple Stories Autumn Splendor collection.

The Simple Stories Details

Fotobella has the Simple Stories Autumn Splendor Collector’s Essential kit in stock which contains eight (8) 12x12 sheets of patterned paper, four (4) 12x12 element sheets, a sticker sheet, Bits & pieces packet, Chipboard sheet, and washi tape. That’s quite a bit of goodies for you to play with! I also used the Simple Stories Autumn Splendor Layered Frames.

For my first card, “Autumnal”, I made a base out of white cardstock that measures 4.25 6. I know that is not a standard size, but it’s what I always use - this gives me the perfect width and length to work with. I then layered a 4x5.75 sheet of the “Fabulous Fall” paper, cutting so that I can have the gorgeous sunflowers on the right edge. Next, I fussy cut leaves from the “B” side of the Autumn Leaves paper and layered them with elements from the Bits & Pieces sheet - and my card was complete!

For my second card, “Fall Harvest”, I used the same size base as my first card, and cut the same first layer size from the “B” side of the Grateful Hearts paper. I added a second layer measuring 3.75 x 5.50 from the “A” side of the Grateful Hearts paper. I then added one of the Layered Frames and backed it with one of the cut-outs from the 3x4 Elements paper. Finally, I once again collaged several elements from the Autumn Splendor Bits & Pieces sheet to finish the card.

This was such a fun project! I love this time of year and making cards is a wonderful way to usher in the Fall season. I hope you give these a go! Fotobella has all you need to make several Harvest-themed cards of your own.

I love Novembers Scrapbooking Page

Hi everyone, Brandy from goodstuffmama.com here to share one of my favorite layouts for the Fall season using Carta Bella Our House 12X12 kit's fabulous and bright fall papers.

Every Thanksgiving we take photos outside at my aunt and uncle's home in front of my granddad's tool barn and I'm never disappointed in the photos. This year, I love how the clothing my daughter's chose for the day were a perfect match for this specific paper in the kit.

I embellished with the Carta Bella Our House Ephemera and the Carta Bella Our House Frames and Tags, finally filling in with the Carta Bella Cabin Fever enamel dots and a few Bo Bunny pearlescent drops in butterscotch.

Fun Tip: Use a hole punch with your scraps!

Use these to add more embellishment and dimension to your project!

Sweater Weather Layout

Howdy friends!

How has Fall been treating you?

Well, I am use to Fall being the hottest time of the year.

We moved to Utah from California 9 months ago. When I walk out to my car each morning, I am reminded that Fall is NOT the hottest time of the year here. Sweater weather is here, but that doesn't mean that you can't get out there and enjoy the incredible, breathtaking changes that nature goes through right now!

My family went to Flaming Gorge for Labor Day Weekend, and I loved the fact that they are all wearing hoodies! :)

My Carta Bella Fall Break Collection was perfect to highlight this awesome picture of some of my favorite people!

The chipboard that comes with this collection is just awesome! So many designs, shapes and sizes!

And the variety of die cuts are perfect. Shapes, sizes and opportunities to add all the details!

Bo Bunny "Enchanted Autumn" Altered Cutting Board

Autumn brings all sorts of images to my mind, a big Kansas field full of sunflowers,  bright orange and yellow leaves gently fluttering toward the ground in the breeze, creating big piles of leaves just perfect for kids to jump in.

The smells of Autumn are so wonderful...a mug of apple cider simmering with a cinnamon stick, pumpkin pie and apple crisp baking, the brown sugar and cinnamon bubbling... and hiking with acorns crackling underfoot, beautiful fall foliage and crisp autumn air, so cool it makes your nose and fingers tingle...                    

These wonderful images are perfectly captured in the Autumnal paper collection called "Enchanted Harvest" by Bo Bunny.  So when I decided to participate in a cutting board swap last week, I knew exactly which paper collection I would use!

I started with a cutting board I found at a thrift shop.  To compliment the paper collection, I stained the bare wood with a combination of Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo distress stains.   
Using the Enchanted Harvest Chipboard, and the Ephemera Pack, I decorated the cutting board and I just love how it turned out!

I can't wait to make more beautiful projects with this 

gorgeous paper collection!
