Graphic 45 Tag Series: March Tag Tutorial “Live with Passion”

Ephemera and diecuts are once again the stars of the show in this, the latest installment of the Graphic 45 Fashion Forward Card and Tag Tutorial Series.

Hi Crafty friends! ReNae here, with a fun (and quick) tag tutorial using beautiful embellishments. This tutorial uses the March patterned paper and coordinating ephemera, to create a tag reminding the recipient to “Live with Passion”.

The Paper Collection

For today’s tag tutorial we are once again using the March papers from the Graphic 45 “Fashion Forward” paper collection. With this collection, you’ll be able to celebrate the entire year with imagery of glamorous ladies, timeless sentiments, and art deco florals for each season.  Featuring a vibrant color palette of sapphire blue, amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, and citrine yellow.

Supplies and Ephemera You’ll Need

• Regular Tag (black)
• March Graphic 45 Fashion Forward Patterned paper
• Ephemera pack
• Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China, Wild Honey
• Ink Applicator tool
• Adhesive
• Paper Trimmer
• Brads
• Ribbon

Assembling Your Graphic 45 Tag

Note: there are two sets of photos so be sure to click through them all!

Cut out the tag pieces and ink up the edges with coordinating ink

Adhere to black tag base as soon

Adhere the yellow strip below the black center line as shown and trim

Attach brads through holes in oval diecut. Adhere oval to center as shown

Select the live with passion banner and adhere it to the yellow patterned paper. Cut a background layer around the banner as shown.

Attach dimensional stickers to the back of the framed diecut

Place the frame in the center of the tag above the oval diecut and place in the center of the tag

Attach ribbon of your choice and your tag is finished!
