Handmade Card using Bo Bunny Garden Grove Collection

Hello again crafty friends! This weeks project is a handmade card using the beautiful collection Garden Grove from Bo Bunny. This collection has plenty to create quite a few handmade cards, mini albums, layouts, etc.

Bo Bunny Garden Grove I Want It All Bundle

Let’s Get Started with our Bo Bunny Collection

I began by cutting a piece of 8.5 X 11 in. ivory card stock into a 5.5 X 5.5 base. Then cutting a piece from one of the design papers cutting it a bit shorter than the base. I adhered it with Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue. Taking another piece of the Bo Bunny collection paper tearing it giving it a more distress, shabby chic look. Before adhering that down I took a piece of white Venice lace adhering it with the same glue. I then inked around the torn distress paper using Tonic Studio Embellishment Mousse in Custard Cream.

It’s In The Details

I then adhered that distressed paper onto the base & continued to add other embellishments such as as a small banner from the chipboard sheets. Taking one of the chipboard hearts from Creative Embellishments and adding some of the embellishment mousse used on the torn paper, adhering some foam tape onto the heart and adding it on top of the lace. Next I stamped out the sentiment “One of a kind” from a Tim Holtz Simple Sayings stamp set. These are great for any card or any other handmade projects requiring sentiments. I cut out the stamped sentiment out to a banner then adhered on some of the Candy Dots from the Bo Bunny collection. Then I added another chipboard floral piece and also some paper flowers from Prima Marketing. Lastly I splattered some DecoArt Shimmer Mist in white.
