Hi all. Jennifer Taylor here. Today I am stopping by to share with you a 8x8 double page layout I made using the Carta Bella Fish Are Friends Collection.
I have a 8x8 wrmk album and a cool stand on my living room table that also holds pages that size. So it's fun to switch to a different size now and then.
What is your favorite size scrapbook page to work with? Tell me in the comments below.
Layout Details
For these layouts I chose coordinating papers from the 12x12 Carta Bella collection and from the 6x6 collection paper pad and flipped them so that each page had the turtle pattern paper and each had the navy blue pattern papers.
I then, centered both pictures in the middle of the pages. Next, I added a part of the title under each picture. Lastly, I did tearing of differs pattern papers adding them around the matted picture. Finishing with layering stickers and adding enamel dots. Check out the pictures and closeups below.
You need to get this adorable collection.
I had so much fun creating with it!

Today, we are going to learn how to scrapbook your garden photos. This garden photo is of a Peace Rose that grew in the our garden for years.
To start this scrapbook layout you will need this beautiful Bo Bunny Sweet Clementine I Want It All Bundle from the FotoBella Online Scrapbooking Store. When purchasing full kits it makes it super easy to scrapbook a bunch of layouts at one time. It’s very easy on your wallet as well, as the pieces cost much more if purchased separately.
This scrapbook layout started out by using this beautiful floral scrapbook paper. This white sheet of paper was not included in this kit.
Your next step in this scrapbook layout process, is to use this green sheet from the kit. Double sided it is one of the favorites from this kit.
Next, use this punch to create this lovely pattern on your scrapbook layout border.
Start the Layers
Now, you will apply the green paper, on top of the white punched border. Both match that gorgeous Bo Bunny floral paper.
Now, use a corner rounder punch on all photos, and photo mats. Super easy! These photo’s are from my garden, but sadly my rose bush died last year. So I am very thankful I have these photo’s and this scrapbook layout.
A Secret Surprise
Next, you will need a note card to glue the bottom photo to. This journaling can be hidden from view this way. The garden scrapbook layouts photos look uninterrupted by using this trick.
Now, onto decorating this scrapbook layout. This layout included several Bo Bunny Chipboard stickers. The sheet was loaded with many beautiful images perfect for any layout.

Get Started with the Bo Bunny Sweet Clementine Collection
To start this layout, you will need the Bo Bunny Sweet Clementine I Want It All Bundle. To purchase this kit at a great price go to the FotoBella Online Scrapbooking Store. It includes a beautiful doubled sided paper collection with lots of pattern and color choices. The kit also includes matching sticker sheets, chipboard stickers, brads, and more!
This stripe paper would work with a ton of subjects, and themes for your scrapbook photos. The striped sheet of paper matched the butterfly photos perfectly so it was chosen for the base of this scrapbook page.
Next, you will add a black cardstock strip in the middle of your layout. This sheet is not included in this kit, but you could easily add another strip from the kit if you preferred that instead of the black cardstock.
Now, add strips of this rose paper to cover the paper seams. It matched beautifully..
To mount the photos you will use the backside of that same rose paper. It is a lovely shade of green with printed dots.
Next, add the photos. These were taken in a Butterfly Garden. The butterflies were everywhere and they were beautiful.
Embellish Time
Now. onto the embellishment phase! This kit comes with SO many fun things to use like these chipboard stickers.
Also, included is a large ephemera pack that has so many embellishments that I couldn’t fit them all in one photo.
To the left of the layout you will need to add the following items. It was so easy to make this look good using these embellishments.
Moving on to the right side of the layout it will look like this.
Here is what the completed layout should look like! Simple, easy and beautiful.
I hope you had a fun time following along in this layout’s process. Be sure and check out this blog regularly for more fun projects!
To start my page, I grabbed that awesome multi-colored shark paper from the Carta Bella Collection, and built the page design off of that. I knew I wanted texture on the page, but with my lil guy hanging around while I scrapbooked I knew my tools were limited. So, I grabbed my decorative scissors and started cutting strips of the lantern fish paper with the decorative scissors.
I then, layered and adhered them on top of each other on the bottom half of the page so the bottom of my two pics could rest on them. Next I grabbed those great Carta Bella 6x6 shark striped papers and adhered my pictures on top. Next, I added the whale sticker to hold my diecut with the page title . Lastly, I layered tons of lil stickers and epherma pieces and roughed up some edges for more texture . Take a look below:
Page close-ups
I had whale of a time making this page! Hope I inspired you to dust off your old tools and give them a go on your next page.
