Hello! Drea here bringing you some Spring inspiration with this art journal page using Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions Paints. These paints are so creamy and vibrant in color, and aren't like any other paints I've used before. You can apply them with a paint brush, your fingers, baby wipes, or with Ranger's Mini Ink Round Blending Tool, which is what I did here, in combination of using my fingers.
For this page I used Bubblegum Pink, Funky Fuchsia, White Linen, and Black Marble with a few of my stencils. Tim Holtz' Blossom Stencil was layered a couple of times along the left side with both pinks, and the dots with White Linen using Prima Marketing's Salvage District Clocks Stencil. In the center of it all is this adorable, clip art bird that I printed out and fussy-cut.
On the top left and bottom right corners, I applied Prima Marketing's Heavy Black Gesso and White Gesso to Tim Holtz' ZigZag Stencil for some texture.
Then I used some old stamps to emboss the title and the chicken wire on the bottom.
If you haven't tried Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions Paints yet, I highly recommend them, and FotoBella.com sells them individually, or in different sets! Thanks for looking!
