Hello Friends,
Today I would like to share with you a folio using the beautiful Simple Stories Vintage Ancestry collection. This paper collection is perfect for documenting all those family photos and history. This is a quick little folio to fill with those special favorite photographs.
Here is a close up of the front of the folio. I used one of the chipboard frames and created a shaker element. I decorated the front with white flowers, gears, a key, and some brads from the Simple Stories collection. It was fun creating this collage of elements for the cover.
As you open the folio, you will see the first page. I decorated it very similarly to the cover using a collage of papers from this amazing collection. Then I added in some of the pretty white flowers and a Simple Stories chipboard piece.
Inside the folio you will notice the matching papers and coordinating flap pages. On the middle flap page I fussy cut the “Family is everything” envelope, backed it with a sturdy 110lb white cardstock, fussy cut it, placed my magnet in between the layers and made my own chipboard closure. On the right side flap page, I used a chipboard element from the collection along with a magnet to hold the flap closed.
As you open the middle flap pages you will find several spots to add some large photographs and a colorful waterfall feature utilizing the matching solid colored cardstock from the Simple Stories 12 x 12 Basics kit. I’ve also included several tuck spots for small mementos and used lots of stickers from the sticker sheet.
As you open the last page, you will notice lots of flaps to add pictures. There is a beautiful post card for a tuck spot and a lovely foliage die cut with a camera in the center to tuck in additional items. Each flap will hold a nice 4 x 5 photo.
