Bo Bunny Secret Garden 2 Pager

It's no secret how beautiful the new Bo Bunny Secret Garden I Want It All Bundle is, with a fabulous assortment of papers and embellies that were perfect for these landscape photos I took at one of my favorite spots, just down the road from where I lived in Truckee, CA!

It felt so good to make a 2 pager again, as it's been awhile, and since the 12 X 12 Collection Pack  comes with 2 sheets of each paper,  I started with 2 of the Vineyard papers for my background. To mimic the field of flowers from the photos, I created the top border with some green sprays first, then applied some Prima Clear Gesso, mixed with some more sprays, using the Tim Holtz Dot Fade Stencil. The flower bunches were fussy-cut from the "Corsage" paper, and I used the striped "Garland" paper with a scallop punch along the bottom. To tie the 2 pages together I cut the floral Chipboard border and placed it over the top of 3 of my photos. I also used the lavender dotted ribbon that comes in the Ephemera

For the title work and date, I used the stickers that come in the 12 X 12 Collection Pack, and backed them with papers, distressed the edges, and machine-stitched around the edges, as well as all of the other paper pieces that I used here. From the Layered Chipboard, I added the green and purple bracket right below Spring, and the rose banner on the right side of the page, which has a wonderful sparkle that doesn't show in these photos.

On the banner with the date, I added some Brads. The blue dotted paper matting the banner date, and the purple dotted paper matting the top photo, also come in the Ephemera pack.

Moonlight Beach Layout with My Mind's Eye By The Sea

Hello there, it's Apryl with the FotoBella's Design Team here to share a layout made with My Mind's Eye By The Sea I Want it All Bundle.  This bundle is great for vacation, beach and any summer photos you may have.  In this layout, you'll find some fun layering a great way to layer photos to create a panoramic look.

Do you ever find that you've got duplicate photos of the same shot?  And do you ever accidentally print out more than one of those photos and then you're wondering why did I do that?!?   Well it happens to me sometimes, and here's a good way to use that duplicate photo.

Use the duplicate photos side by side, and layer a different photo over the center of them to create what looks like a panoramic photo behind it.  The cool thing about this is your aren't actually missing any part of the picture by covering it up with the photo in the middle.  This is because you are covering up the part of the photo that was duplicated.  To add some dimension to the layout, I backed the 4"x 6" photo in the center with chipboard so that it sits up off the page.

I really love the colors in the By The Sea Collection.  It works well with beach photos and just portrays such a calm and relaxing feeling, don't you think?  All the patterned paper you see in this layout, came from the 6"x 6" paper pad and all were cut in half to make 3"x3" strips.

The alpha stickers in this collection are a fun silver color!

You'll find the same silver accents in various embellishments, such as the journal cards and the anchor.  I added the dots with a Navy journaling pen around the page to give it some more details.  I think you'll really love the My Mind's Eye By The Sea Collection.  Visit FotoBella.com to check out all the fun goodies included in the I Want It All Bundle.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous day!

MME HAPPY CAMPER - FATHER'S DAY CARD

It's never too early,... to plan ahead!

I know Father's Day isn't for another 3 months, but the bundle I got to work with this month for the FotoBella Design Team was perfect for a Father's Day Card!

If you have an outdoorsy father, then you need this My Mind's Eye Happy Camper I Want It All Bundle to make your card this year.

I used the Tim Holtz Woodgrain Stencil to create this fun print both on the front of the card and the envelope. On the envelope I used brown ink, and on the front of the card I spritz it with the Worn Leather Prima Marketing Color Bloom Spray.

On the inside of the card I stamped a bunch of pine trees with the Tim Holtz Pine Needle Distress Ink. I layered it with a journal card  to write on, and this fun buffalo die cut.

Enjoy this bundle!

MME Happy Camper Roam Free Tag Tutorial

Get adventurous with the new Happy Camper I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella
Jeri here, from the FotoBella Design Team to share my Roam Free Tag Tutorial. This versatile tag can be used for any occasion and any season.
Let's Roam Free!

Supplies:
3D Foam Dots
Double Sided Tape
Prima Marketing Pine Tree Wood Veneer
Burlap

Jute Cord

Tools:
Paper Cutter
Scissors
Knife
Oval Stencil
Tree Stamp

Find this cute print from the Happy Camper 6x6 Paper Pad. Measure a 6”x3” piece and cut out.

Mark the center point of the top of the tag, about 3/8” down. Mark a diagonal line on each side, where you want the tag corners cut. I marked mine approx. ¾” down and ½” in on the top.

Cut the corners off, and punch a hole at the center point.

Using the Tim Holtz Iced Spruce Distress Ink, ink the edges of the tag.

Find this cute Buffalo Journal Card, and trace an oval around the image. Cut it out.

Ink the edges with the Iced Spruce Distress Ink.

Find this Feather Sheet in the 6x6 Paper Pad. Cut the same size oval out, and using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink pad, distress the edges.

Using a Tree Stamp and the Pine Needles Distress Ink, stamp a few random trees around the tag.

Add a couple 3D Foam Dots to the back of the Buffalo oval.

Secure it to the top of the Feather Oval. This will give it a little dimension on the tag.

Ink the Tree Wood Icon with the Pine Needle Distress Ink, then dab with a paper towel to remove the excess ink.

Find the brown tag chipboard, and with a knife, slice the backing about ¾ of the way up. Leave the backing on the upper part, since it will hang off the tag.

Stick the Brown tag to the top right, and then secure the Wood Tree on top of it, as in the picture.

Using the Gathered Twigs Ink, ink the edges of this saying found in the Brads package. Use your finger to round up the edges.

With double sided tape, secure a small piece of burlap in the bottom left corner. Add a couple more 3D Foam Dots to the back of the Buffalo Oval, and secure that to the top of the burlap.

Using 3D Foam Dots, secure the Brad saying on top of the brown chipboard and Buffalo oval.

With some jute string, tie to the top of the tag.

Your Roam Free Tag is now complete.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from all of us at FotoBella! This Irish holiday holds a special place in my heart, as it's also the 16th anniversary for me and my husband. I'm so lucky my cousin dragged me out that night, and brought us together! Bo Bunny's Ephemera packages are always so perfect for making cards, and the new Secret Garden Ephemera, was ideal with all of the greens, in creating this card for my love.

I cut the shamrock from green cardstock, and embossed the edges with Ranger Gold Embossing Powder, which I also used around the papers from the Ephemera. Then I covered it with Green Stickles, and outlined it in black with some hand-stitching. I love that the book page from the Ephemera has the green definition, which I tore and colored with Distress Inks (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn)! For the sentiment, I used Tim Holtz' Cargo Alphabet Stencil, masking LUCKY with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and Golden Rod Stickles. Then I used Memento (Cottage Ivy) ink and Bo Bunny's Wasabi Glitter Paste to mask the rest. I finished it off with some sheer gold ribbon from my stash, and added the striped button that also comes in the Ephemera.

Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day, and be safe!

Bo Bunny Secret Garden Easter Card Tutorial

I have a secret to share with you, and it's the gorgeous new Bo Bunny Secret Garden I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella!  Although it's a Spring/Easter collection, it's very versatile and could be used for so much more, with beautiful cool colors, like purples, pinks, blues, and greens. Here's the fun Easter card that I made for my son, with step by step instructions!

  Supplies:                                                                         Tools:
. Bo Bunny Secret Garden I Want It All Bundle                . Tim Holtz Water Brush Detailer
. 12 X 12 Collection Pack                                                   . Ink Blending Tool
. Ephemera                                                                          . Scissors
. Brads                                                                                 . Heat Gun
. Bo Bunny Eggcellent Stamp                                             . Glue
. Bo Bunny Glitter Paste (Wasabi)                                      . Sewing Machine (Optional)
. Tim Holtz Stencil (Blossom)
. Distress Inks (Victorian Velvet, Shaded Lilac,
Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet,
Chipped Sapphire, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn)
. Ranger Sea Foam White Embossing Powder
. Ranger Clear Embossing Powder
. Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink
. Silver Marker
. Googly Eyes
. White Cardstock

****************************************
Directions:

1. Cut striped "Secret Garden Garland" paper at 4 1/4" X 5 3/4". Use blending tool to ink around the edges with Distress Ink (Wilted Violet). Cut green "Secret Garden Planted" paper at 3 3/4" X 5 1/2", and ink edges with Distress Ink (Mowed Lawn).

2. Use blending tool with Distress Inks (Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet) to mask some blossoms with the back of the Tim Holtz (Blossom) Stencil.

3. You can see in this photo the part of the stencil that I used right below. Place your stencil over the ink again, and lightly apply some Glitter Paste (Wasabi).

4. Gather your Distress Inks, white cardstock, Water Brush, scissors, and embossing ink and powders. Stamp and emboss the eggs, grass, bow tie, and bunny ears with clear embossing powder, and use the Water Brush and Distress Inks to color them in.

5. Use scissors to fussy cut your images, and glue onto the green paper as shown. Use black ink to stamp the glasses onto the center egg, and glue some googly eyes to it.

6. Glue the green paper onto the striped paper, and attach a strip of the blue ribbon from the Ephemera, towards the bottom of the green paper. Sew a zig zag along the bottom of the ribbon. I used my sewing machine, but you could also hand-stitch it, or not stitch it at all.

7. Attach the striped brad to the left side of the ribbon, and glue down another egg to the right. Stamp the bunny feet with black ink, fussy cut, and glue to the bottom of the center egg, overlapping the ribbon.

8. Add the alpha stickers from the 12 X 12 Collection Pack, to spell "Hoppy", and emboss "Easter" with white embossing powder onto the top right side of the green paper. Then just glue your striped and green papers to your card base, which I got from the Ephemera, by scoring the blue dotted cardstock in half to measure 4 1/2" X 6". The purple or pink cardstock would also look good!

Hoppy Easter!
