Crafty Box of Smiles with Bo Bunny Harmony Collection

Hi all, it's Annie and today I'm back with a fun gift idea for a crafty friend using the gorgeous Bo Bunny Harmony Collection.  This little box of smiles is filled with handmade cards and tags that can be customized even a bit more by the recipient for quick and easy gifts.

First I added a couple of cards to the box with generic themes and sentiments that can be embellished a bit to fit multiple occasions.  I started by adding mat layers of brown cardstock to some of the 4" x 6" notecards in the collection and adhering it to a white card base.  Then I arranged some of the chipboard stickers, layered chipboard, and thickers included in the collection on top to embellish.

Next, I created a handful of "lunch box notes" using the 3" x 4" notecards matted with some of the patterned paper in the collection.  While leaving these mostly blank as well, I did add a few chipboard pieces and stickers to each for fun dimension and color.

Lastly, I matted a bunch of the beautiful tags from the sticker sheet in the collection with brown cardstock and added a short length of pink baker's twine to create some easy gift tags.

The box was constructed by hand from brown cardstock using a score board.  Each side of the lid was covered in gorgeous patterned paper from the collection while the top was embellished with a large floral frame from the Noteworthy pack and chipboard stickers.

In addition to the cards and tags, I placed a few coordinating paper flowers and ribbons in the box before closing it up.  I hope this box of handmade crafty goodies makes you and my friend smile!

Bo Bunny Harmony Layered Cards

Hi all, it's Annie and today I'm back with two card ideas using the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection.  Whether you like clean and simple cards or lots of layers, this collection has tons of beautiful patterns, die-cut pieces, and embellishments for endless options.

The first card uses several of the patterned papers in the collection, matted with brown cardstock and arranged in layers, to draw attention to the beautiful bird notecard and tag.  I thought the "home sweet home" sentiment on the tag made this a great card to congratulate someone on their new home.

To embellish the card, I attached a loopy twine bow to one of the patterned paper panels with a brad from the collection, used a sparkly brad to do the same with the tag, and added a few paper flowers from my stash in coordinating colors.

This next card follows many of the same principles, using a couple of patterned paper layers matted in navy blue to draw focus to the beautiful bird notecard and chipboard sentiments.  Love cards are a favorite of mine because you can use them for so many different types of occasions.

A green loopy bow is attached to the notecard with another large brad from the collection, and gorgeous paper flower ephemera was used to embellish the corners of the focal image.

I hope you enjoyed these layered card projects and thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to visit the FotoBella store to pick up this gorgeous collection today!

Easy Square Cards with the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection

Hi all, it's Annie and today I'm back with three easy square cards made with the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection.  Because the same general layout is used for all three of these, you can quickly make a variety of pretty cards for all different occasions.

The first card uses one of the beautiful frames from the Noteworthy ephemera pack in the Harmony Collection.  Since the frame is nearly five inches square, I mounted it on top of a 6" square card base covered with a piece of pink patterned paper from the collection.  A border strip wrapped with white satin ribbon was placed on the center of the card base before popping the frame up on top with foam adhesive.

To embellish, I added the word "hello" in holographic Thickers from the collection above a stamped sentiment from my stash.  Then, I popped up a dragonfly from the Noteworthy ephemera pack in the upper corner.

The next card is super simple, but I loved this little bird illustration from the 12x12 papers so much, I didn't want to detract from it!  After matting the bird image on some Café Ole cardstock, I popped it up over a 5.5" square card base created with one of the beautiful papers in the collection.

The center strip and sentiment are both cardstock stickers from the collection matted with the same brown cardstock.  A pretty holographic chipboard flourish was adhered to the side to embellish.

Again starting with a frame panel from the collection matted on Café Ole cardstock, I popped it up on top of a 5.5" square card base made from some of the pretty patterned paper.  The center band is just a border strip cut from one of the patterned paper sheets.

After adhering a "hi" spelled out in holographic Thickers, I added one of the cardstock stickers to complete the sentiment.  A glittery flower cluster and a few chipboard pennants were added to the center panel to finish off the card.

I hope you enjoyed these quick and easy square cards and thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to visit the FotoBella store to pick up this beautiful collection today!

Handmade Gift Bag with the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection

Hi all, it's Annie and today I'm back with a tutorial to create a darling little gift bag with the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection that's perfect for baby showers, weddings, or just to send a happy hello!

Start by scoring the “wrong side” of a full sheet of 12” x 12” patterned paper from the Bo Bunny Harmony Collection at two inches from the top.

Turn the paper over and rotate it ninety degrees.  Then score it at 3 1/8” and 8 7/8”.

Fold the top flap downward as shown and crease the score line well with a bone folder.  Then add a decorative sticker border from the collection to the bottom of the flap.

Turn the sheet over and fold the two side flaps into the center.  Crease the score lines well and then adhere the flaps together with a strong adhesive like Scor-Tape

Score the bag at two inches from the bottom and fold  it up, making sure to crease the fold well.  (This will create a tall, skinny gift bag…for a shorter and wider bag, crease the bag higher during this step.)

Open the bottom flap and flatten it out by pressing the edges toward the center as shown.  Crease all folds well with a bone folder.

Fold the top and bottom flaps of the base inward to meet in the center and hold in place with a small piece of tape.  Trim a piece of coordinating paper from the collection to 3.75” x 2” and adhere it to the bottom for extra stability and a finished look.

Score each side 0.75” from the edge and crease the folds well to create the side folds.

Open the bag up and embellish it with the large chipboard sticker and flowers and banners from the Noteworthy pack in the collection.

Punch holes in the top of the bag about an inch from each side and string ribbon through both the front and back sides of the bag.  Add a tag from the Noteworthy pack to the handle before tying each ribbon end in a knot on the inside of the bag.

Enjoy your new handmade gift bag…add treats or small gifts for a baby shower, wedding, or just a cheerful hello!

I hope you enjoyed this handmade gift bag tutorial and thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to visit the FotoBella store to pick up this beautiful collection today!

Bo Bunny Harmony Card Box and Cards

Hello everyone. Olivia here. Today I am showcase a box I decorated and also three set of cards I created using the Bo Bunny Collection called Harmony. This gorgeous collection is perfect for spring theme cards and projects. The set has a want it all package with 12x12 papers, bards, chipboard, stickers and die-cuts.

For the card box I used a plain Kraft box for holding cards. I then layered it with some of the 12x12 papers from the collection and added various chipboard pieces.

Next I created a trio of cards from the collection.  I love making starburst style cards because it is a great way to use up a variety of scraps.

Hope you all enjoyed this project. This is an adorable gift idea for that friend who loves to send out a card to his or her friends or family.
