Sir Vagabond Faux Layered Scrapbook Layout from FotoBella

Hi There! Lynda from Scrapbook with Lynda back to share my last scrapbook layout using the Sir Vagabond collection.

Easy Sir Vagabond Faux Layered Scrapbook Layout

This layout looks like I spent hours selecting, distressing and layering paper, but I didn’t! This layered look paper is part of the paper pad, so all I did was tear it out of the pad.

Yup, it was just that simple to create this vintage, steampunk background and I just love the look.

Creating a Hand Lettered Title to Match the Sir Vagabond Paper

I didn’t have any letter stickers that match the Sir Vagabond paper, so I made a hand lettered title for the layout.

Using a pencil I drew Doc on a piece of cream cardstock, then traced the outline with a black permanent ink pen. It looked a bit plain, so I filled in each letter with a fun pattern.

Gave it a bit of an aged look by inking it with brown ink in a random way. The unevenness of the inking gives it an aged look.

Steampunk Embellishment Clusters

Nex,t I started working on the clusters to create a diagonal line of sight through the Sir Vagabond scrapbook layout.

Love how this little cluster nestles in the corner of the layout.

Layered a couple die cut shapes with a clear die cut gear to create this little corner cluster.

Tucked a clear die cut from the Sir Vagabond collection under the photo, then added a die cut of the man himself.

The final cluster is also a die cut layered with a clear die cut. Simple, but looks great! With such a busy paper I decided to keep the embellishments on the page simple.

This is the last of my three layouts using the Sir Vagabond collection. It’s fun collection to work with. I’ll be back again in March to share more paper crafting with you. In the meantime, you can see more of my work on Instagram or by following me on Facebook.

Happy Scrapping!
