Today I am excited to share this SteamPunk Mixed Media Canvas! It was fun to create and play with this project! This project features Stamperia’s Cards Collection and Stamperia Texture Moulds with Stamperia’s Cream Paste. There are so many fun pieces in this Card collection - Cards, bases, tags, and book marks! And the Texture moulds are amazing!
Supplies Needed
Stamperia Texture Moulds - Mannequin
Stamperia Cards Collection - Voyages fantastiques
Colored Wooden shape A5 - Transport
Chipboard cm 15x30 - Voyages Fantastiques
Stamperia 12x12 Paper Pad - Voyages Fantastiques (22 Double Sided Sheets)
Prima Marketing Art Alchemy-Metallique Wax-Aged Brass
Prima Marketing Finnabair Wax Paste - Patina Green
Other supplies
8x10 flat canvas, paper doily, Lace, Large Flower, rik rak, tag, mini tags, brads (NOTE: the colors don’t matter as you will paint over these items)
Black Paint, black card stock
How to Create your Stamperia SteamPunk Mixed Media Canvas
Create with your Mould
I shared a step by step tutorial on the fotobella blog a while back on how to use these Stamperia Texture Moulds with Stamperia’s Cream Paste. So hop on over to that blog post to create your moulded piece.
Assembling your SteamPunk Mixed Media Canvas
Now, add a paper doily and your Stamperia Texture Mannequin Moulds to your canvas.
Next, add some lace along bottom of your canvas.
Add tag and mini tags with brads to your canvas.
Embellish with a rik rak large flower to your canvas.
Painting your canvas
Paint your canvas with black paint.
Continue painting until your canvas is black. Let dry.
Once dry, rub Prima Marketing Art Alchemy-Metallique Wax-Aged Brass onto your canvas.
Add Prima Marketing Finnabair Wax Paste - Patina Green as desired to your canvas.
Finishing touches for your SteamPunk Mixed Media Canvas
Mat Female card from Stamperia Cards Collection - Voyages fantastiques onto cardstock. Adhere to canvas. Add Chipboard and wooden pieces as desired. Cut sentiment from paper pack and add to canvas.
