Carta Bella "God Bless America" Paper is Perfect for Patriotic Decorations

Hello crafty friends and Happy Independence Day! I’m eager to get started on my July design team projects for FotoBella. This month, I’ll be designing with the festive and patriotic “God Bless America” collection by Carta Bella. My design team projects for the month will feature both the 12” x 12” paper collection and the 6” x 6” paper pad. There are 12 different papers in both sizes, with two sheets of each double-sided design.

Carta Bella God Bless America

Today, I have a preparation tutorial that I will be using in my next design team project. I am featuring more of the Carta Bella collection. However, I hope it will also be helpful to anyone new to crafting with Julie Nutting doll stamps. These doll stamps are a fun way to embellish projects. To make them festive for July 4th, we will be using the Carta Bella 6” x 6” “God Bless America” paper to make the doll clothes. FotoBella has a wide variety of the Julie Nutting doll stamps to choose from. For the tutorial, I’ll be featuring Cassie, Elena, and Madeline.

Materials Needed for the Tutorial

To craft along to the video tutorial, you will need at least one Julie Nutting doll stamp and the 6” x 6” Carta Bella paper pad. Plain cardstock for the base of the stamped image is recommended. I am using basic white cardstock from the local craft store. Permanent ink will be needed to stamp the images. I use a mini black ink pad like this one by KaiserCraft. The smaller 6” x 6” Carta Bella “God Bless America” paper is a better choice so the size of the pattern fits the dolls. Sharp scissors to fussy cut the pieces is a must-have for this project. Finally, don’t forget to grab your favorite glue!

Check out the tutorial below from my YouTube channel to learn how to make these adorable and festive dolls. Make sure to use the Carta Bella “God Bless America” collection. I hope you will also join me in the next blog post where I’ll show you how to create a decorative banner for your dolls. And don’t forget to head over to FotoBella.com to pick up your supplies today.
