KaiserCraft Cards

Hello Friends,

It’s Diane again. Today, I would like to share a few cards I designed and created using the New KaiserCraft collection called, “Under the Gum Leaves. This is an Australian Christmas themed collection.

Kaisercraft Card 1

I created this card using the ephemera included in the Kaisercraft collection bundle. This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (A2) and it’s base is made from 110lb kraft card stock. This is a pretty simple card. Next, I place the ephemera in a pleasing design, handmade a poinsettia and die cut the gold paper for the sentiment. The leaf curio adds a beautiful element and adds extra dimension.

Kaisercraft Card 2

Since many of us have trouble creating masculine cards, I thought that this would be a good example of what can be created for that wonderful guy in your life.

The base of this card is 65lb beige card stock and measures 6 x 6. So, I layered the design paper on a piece of 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 brown card stock and then a smaller panel from the gold polka dot paper, then cut a strip of the tin looking paper from the collection and offset that on the front of the card. Next, I cut a square from gold metallic paper, stamped the kangaroo on white cardstock with versa mark. Then, embossed with gold embossing powder. Using a smaller square die cut the kangaroo out being careful not to cut the tip of his tail. Adhered all that down to the card front. Then, I embossed the sentiment cut it out and also used a wooded chip in the other corner. This makes a nice masculine card.

Merry Packages card

Kaisercraft Card 3

I love these little packages that come in the Kaisercraft die cut assortment. They are so very vintage. This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (A2). This was a very simple card to create. The base of the card is 110lb kraft card stock. I used the wood grain as my layer, the next layer is the off white paper from the cockatoo page. Used some of the polka dot paper to cut some stripe for the top and the bottom of the card. I stamped some pine needle leaves in green ink, fussy cut them and added them to the front of my card. The rest of the images are from the die cut assortment. Once I got them placed where I wanted them, I added a twine bow to the tag.

A trio

Here is a lovely photo of all three of the cards I created. I hope they will inspire you.
