Carta Bella Fish are Friends Card Trio

Hi all Jennifer Taylor here. Happy June! Today I am sharing with you 3 cards - two A2 size and one mini shape that I made using the adorable Fish are Friends Collection from Carta Bella. The fish images and the sayings are great for your pictures from the aquarium, pool, sea world or just cute, fun cards.

Let’s Get Started

For this first card, I made a A2 size card using blue wave pattern paper from the Carta Bella 12 x12 collection pack ( this paper is nice and thick ) . Then, I layered a piece of the striped pattern paper layering one of the diecut frames on top. Next, I used the cute whale cutapart to layer on top with foam tape . Lastly, I punched out a heart with my mini heart punch from a piece of coral pattern paper to adhere above the whale and finished the card off with a circle diecut from the epherma pack and distressed some edges of the whale diecut.

Another Carta Bella Card

For the second card, I used another cutapart from a different 12 x 12 sheet with the smiling octopus. I used the other half of the wave paper to cut another card base. I then layered the fancy frame on top and cut out a strip of bubble paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad . Next I matted the octopus cutapart onto the coral pattern paper and foam taped it on top . Then, I punched a heart from a starfish sticker and outlined it with a black marker . Lastly, I added a piece of stripe sticker from the sticker sheet to the bottom edge and distressed the cutapart for texture.

Onto the Third Card

For the third card of this trio I used the super cute whale image from the Carta Bella 12 x 12 ocean scene paper.

I loved this whale so I cut him out and adhered him to a premade black card base I had in my stash. Making sure to line up his back to the fold of the card before adhering him. I, then, fussy cut around him again trimming off the extra cardbase paper. lastly, I layered the i whaley love you sentiment onto a coral reef sticker to put on the inside of the card. They were a perfect size since the card was a unusual shape. .
