Bo Bunny Garden Grove Mini Album

From the moment I seen this beautiful collection, I knew that I would be creating a mini album for a friend! Bo Bunny Garden Grove is a beautiful collection , the colors are so soft, I absolutely love it!

Details of the Album

For this album I used the square 6.5 X 6.5 chipboard album from Frank Garcia’s Memory Hardware Collection. Along the edges of the album, I used Nuvo Mousse by Tonic Studios Toasted Almond. Applying it, using a make up sponge and with a little water on my mixed media mat. I, then picked out my papers and cut them to size. Usually, I create the cover last on my albums. Next, I picked out the trim I was gonna use for my closure. I usually don’t put on these albums since you can’t do too much dimensional embellishing on these albums, but I did it mainly for appearance.

I created side pockets and regular pockets on this album and using a decorative punch on them as well. Then, I added some thin dainty laces on the pockets and some of the ephemera from the collection. Next, I used foam dots on the ephemera because I love the little bit of dimension that it creates. Then, inside of the pockets I cut up one of the sheets that had some cut outs, which is perfect for journaling. For the photo mats, I used some ivory card stock from my stash, and used the camera stamp from Maggie Holmes.

Finishing Touches with Bo Bunny Products

For the cover, I did some layering of papers, using thin pieces of card board in between the layers since I was out of foam tape and didn’t want to use too many of the foam dots . I’ve used card board before on my mini albums. I took some chipboard pieces from the Bo Bunny collection on the cover and used some Prima Marketing flowers and a wooden button as well. Finishing it off by adding some splatters, using Pearl Agua Pigment Inks from Brutus Monroe, giving it a more shabby chic look.
