How to Make A Girls Halloween Layout

Good morning scrapbookers, Penny here today to show you how to make this cute little girl's Halloween layout. This layout features my two granddaughter's Olivia and Madison in their Halloween costumes last year.

A Wee Bit Wicked

These two can be a lot of fun on a regular day, but on holiday's they are a real blast. I made this layout using products from the FotoBella Online Scrapbook Store. They are a great all in one online scrapbooking shop, that carries the latest in your scrapbooking product needs. Be sure and check them out, you won't be disappointed.
So I started this layout by choosing some sweet Halloween themed pattern papers. I loved the little witches feet and hats on this sheet from the All Hallows Ever collection by Photo Play. so that is what I started my layout with.

To that I added a sheet of the polka dot maroon from the Bo Bunny - 12 x 12 Wonderfully Wicked Collection . I cut that sheet into a banner shape.
I loved that these Halloween paper collections are double sided, and made of a good quality paper. They also have a great texture, and thickness. The All Hallows Eve Halloween collection came with 2 sheets of this cut apart title designs. They could be used as titles, or for project life type albums.

Title Sheet and other patterns

Here is a photo of the full size sticker sheet included in the kit.

These are some of those accessories cut out and mounted on cardstock that I plan on using on my layout, but just because I plan on using them doesn't mean they will make the finished layout as I often change my mind on what I want to use.(The orange, and black mounting cardstock were not included in these collections.)

Fun All Hallows Eve Cut Outs and Ephemera

While those pieces dried, I cut a smaller banner out and glued it onto my larger banner. Then I added a strip of gold adhesive bling down the side of the large banner. After all you can't have a girls scrapbook layout without some bling on it.

Next I added my "Wicked" title piece that I had previously mounted onto the matching maroon sheet of pattern paper.

Wicked!

Then I added my photo of the two girls.

Love these two cuties#

Next came my other embellishments that were now dry and ready to be placed on my Halloween scrapbook layout. I normally don't glue these pieces down at first and just move them around on the page till I like where they end up in my design.  I learned this trick the hard way, ruining many layouts when I tried to move page elements after the glue had already dried. Sigh....Live and Learn.

A Wee Bit Wicked

So a little more bling and my layout is all finished and ready to be either put on display or added to the girls Halloween scrapbooks.
I used the following scrapbooking kit to make this layout:
