Stamped Travel Cards with PhotoPlay Here & There Collection

Hi there!  It's Annie, and today I'm back with a couple of cards featuring handmade backgrounds using the stamps from PhotoPlay's Here & There Collection.

Sometimes you love a collection, but are running out of a certain patterned paper you like or need to use a specific color scheme.  If the collection has a coordinating stamp set, you can create countless different patterned papers for your projects!

For this card, I started by stamping both the balloon and "Go" images from the stamp set onto some blue cardstock from my stash using a similar color of blue ink for a tone-on-tone look.  I matted this with some of the striped patterned paper from the collection and mounted the whole thing onto a white A2-sized card base.

I stamped the balloon image one more time onto white cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers before cutting it out with the coordinating dies.  Then I popped it up over a tag and sentiment sticker from the collection and a cute chipboard suitcase.  A spray of metallic dots from my stash finished off the card.

To create a brighter card with this collection, I started by stamping the butterfly image from the stamp set randomly over a piece of yellow cardstock using a similar yellow ink.  I matted the stamped panel with "Brown Eyes" Canvas Cardstock and tied a twine bow around it before adhering it to a white A2-sized card base.

I stamped one more butterfly image and a sentiment banner from the stamp set onto white cardstock, colored the butterfly with Copic markers, and cut both out with the coordinating dies.  Like before, I popped the images up with foam adhesive, then added a few paper flowers and a spray of enamel dots to finish off the card.

I hope you enjoyed these fun stamped travel cards and thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to visit the FotoBella store and pick up this beautiful collection today!
