Trio of S.S. Domestic Bliss Shaped Cards

Hi all, jen t. here. I am stopping by today to share one of my first fotobella dt projects. I was given the simple stories domestic bliss collection to play with and i had a blast creating with it.

For today’s project I created these shaped cards out of  fussy cut images from both the 6x8 paper pad and the vertical cutapart sheet.  The house and washing machine images are both from the 6x8 paper pad and the door is from the cutapart sheet. To make these first I fussycut out the images from the papers then I decided which side of each image i wanted to be the fold.
I then adhered the images onto premade card bases from my stash with scor-tape in  the direction I want them to open. Next, I cut the cardbase around the image to form the shape being careful to not cut my fold. Lastly, I embellished the cards using chipboard stickers, decorative brads, and clear stickers from the domestic bliss collection as well. Check out my project pics below and my supply list as well.

Thanks for coming by and happy creating!  Jen Taylor:)
