The possibilities with art journaling are endless, and can really enhance creativity! Drea here with the Design Team, and I finished another page in my art journal using Bo Bunny's Serendipity Collection, featuring Prima Marketing's Princess Zara Stamp from FotoBella.com.
1. Apply Distress Inks to your craft mat, spray with water, and press art journal page onto it. I used Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Milled Lavender, and Tattered Rose to create an ethereal sky.
2. Glue smaller piece of feather paper from the Ephemera to the bottom left corner. Stamp wood grain to the bottom right with the Bo Bunny Rough It Up Stamp inked with Ranger's Archival Jet Black Ink.
3. Use Watercolor Brush/Pen to color the wood with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Stamp the princess with Archival Jet Black Ink about 1/2" above the feather paper, and use brush to color around the edges with Wilted Violet Distress Ink.
4. Stamp princess again onto sturdy white cardstock or watercolor paper. Color with Distress Inks or medium of your choice, fussy-cut, and glue over the first image.
5. Glue ribbon from the Ephemera in between the feather paper and princess stamp.
6. Glue the rest of the pieces from the Noteworthy, using Blending Tool with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink around the edges of the "Beautiful" banner and feathers.
7. The final and optional step is to add sequins to the centers of the flowers. You could also use beads, buttons, bling, or Stickles.
It was so fun and relaxing coloring her! Try it for yourself with supplies from FotoBella.com!
