National Coloring Book Day

Happy National Coloring Book Day!

Did you know the first coloring book, for adults, was published in 1970?!
It was created by Dover Publications. You can see the Antique Automobiles coloring book on their site.

After the release of their first book, there was a demand for them, so in the next year they released 5 more books, which some of them are still in print!

Throughout the years, they continued to release some unique books that combined both learning, coloring and some even allowed you to write stories of the graphics you colored!

Coloring books are still hot sellers today, they not only are a fun way to waste time, but they also reduce stress and coloring keeps your mind active.
Here are some of our favorite Coloring Books at FotoBella

The new Kaisercraft Coloring Books come in a variety of prints.

Don't forget to grab some Kaisercraft Kaisercolour Gel Pens to color with!

We are loving the Chameleon Color Cards, that give you some practice using the innovative Chameleon Pens.

The Chameleon Pens are more of an artist type of coloring pen, they take coloring to a whole new level!

Want even more coloring fun? In Scottsdale, AZ we have started a scrapbooking group, and have a few upcoming events scheduled. Make sure to check out our MeetUp page for more info and to sign up!

We hope you are celebrating National Coloring Book Day, and would love to see what you create!

  1. Interesting topic for a blog. I have been searching the Internet for fun and came upon your website. Fabulous post. Thanks a ton for sharing your knowledge! It is great to see that some people still put in an effort into managing their websites. I'll be sure to check back again real soon. coloringbpr
