Happy Valentine's Day!

As paper crafters, Valentine's Day is one of our favorites for card making.

And to celebrate Valentine's Day
I am sharing a card I made using the
"Mon Amour" paper collection by Graphic 45.
Valentine's Day first became associated with romantic love,  in the 14th century.  Lovers found comfort and took pleasure in pouring their hearts out on paper,
in the form of love letters and Valentines,
leaving behind a rich  and lasting testament of their love.
By the 18th-century Valentine's Day had evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery
and sending greeting cards known as "Valentines".
A tradition we carry on today!
Elbert Hubbard said
"The love we give away is the only love we keep."
We paper crafters understand this,
which is why we love to give our handmade Valentines away
to friends and those we love!

"Love conquers all things; Let us too, surrender to Love!" ~Virgil

Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at FotoBella.

    1. I have always loved color! Sometimes I just blur my eyes and see what colors pop out at me, and those are the colors that I embellish my image with.
