Card Making: Simple Elegance

The Tea Garden Collection by Basic Grey is a sentimental blend of nostalgic floral patterns and vintage designs that will send your creativity on a trip down memory lane.
Today I am featuring a traditional card using a monochromatic color scheme in shades of peach.  I selected the pink rose sticker from the sticker sheet, and adhered it to the oval-shaped journaling card, which I cut in a scalloped oval using a thin steel die.

Using both sides of the patterned paper, I covered the card base, and centered the rose image, embellishing it with some mulberry roses and a peach ribbon from my stash. Glossy accents, pink rhinestones and pearls make it sparkle and shine.

This simple yet elegant card came together in less than ten minutes, and would be perfect for most any occasion!
