Basic Grey Fresh Cut and Hidden Journaling

Happy Day to you!  Jessica here today sharing another layout I did using the Basic Grey Fresh Cut I want it all bundle from FotoBella.  Just in case anyone is keeping track, I have completed four layouts with this kit, a card and a Welcome Spring sign.  I also have one more layout in the making and enough supplies to probably make two or three more.  I love the idea of these bundles and getting everything that goes along with a product line.

Here is my layout that I wanted to share with you today.

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about hidden journaling.  If you have been a long time reader of my blog you know, I am madly in love with hidden journaling.  I use it on a regular basis.  I don't hate my handwriting but it isn't my favorite either.  It is always nice and neat, just not really the most elegant script.  This line line has a lot of great journaling cards with it.  I decided to use the one with a bird on it in order to write the story about my daughter and this birdhouse.  It provided a great embellishment as well as the perfect card to use for hidden journaling.

I took these pictures before I wrote out the story about my daughter.  But, this is what I added to the card.

"Jalyn my sweet baby you were so excited when you were done painting this birdhouse.  I just had to take pictures of your joy and how proud you were.  You talked mommy into buying this birdhouse for you at Micheals.  Lucky for me it was 40% off that day and you had been on your very best behavior.  I love to see your joy when your crafting and hope it continues as you get old. Much love my precious."
