Christmas Chalk Flower Tutorial using Tis the Season by Echo Park

As much as I tried using Echo Park's Tis the Season Collection all by itself, I couldn't help but add a little from their Reflections Christmas Collection. They're both so festive and work beautifully together!

I especially love all of the black accents, so I came up with this flower to go with both collections.

Supplies using Tis the Season by Echo Park:
~ 25 Days double sided paper
~ Be Jolly double sided paper
~ Brads

Other supplies used:
~ Black cardstock
~ White Ink
~ Inkadinkado Stamping Gear Collection Intro Kit
~ Cricut Expression (Serenade Cartridge) or decorative scissors.
~ Glue

Directions:
1. Using Echo Park's Tis the Season Be Jolly paper ( the black side) stamp your image 6 times using white ink. I used Inkadinkado's Stamping Gear Collection (Intro Kit), but you can use any flower stamp you have. I  think the white ink is really what makes this look like chalk.

2. Cut out your images and then curl your petals up and out.

3. Using my Cricut Expression I cut out this scalloped circle (flower #3) with the Serenade Cartridge at 2 1/2 " using Echo Park's Tis the Season 25 Days double sided paper, and inked the edges with white ink. If you don't have a Cricut you could always use decorative scissors to cut around a circle.

4. Now cut another circle slightly larger than the first one out of black cardstock and glue under your first one. Take your petals and glue into the center of your scalloped circle.

5. I inked the little scallop circle that came with the brad to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by!
