Design team Post, Basic Grey Soleil

I am so excited to share these two pages with you today made with Basic Grey "I Want It All", Soleil. This kit is full of pretty papers and embellishments! I love how with one kit I could create two very different pages. One is very bold and bright and the other is soft and subtle.

This first page is what I saw first when I saw all the pretty funky fun papers.... bold and bright!

I used many of the elements in the kit, using clusters with layers and stitching.

Besides the misting and stitching, the only thing  not found in the kit is this date stamp. I used one from my stash of supplies to add a fun little messy touch on the arrow sticker.

I used the stripes to add my journaling. Using lined paper to journaling on not only keeps your writing neat, but adds to the design perfectly, without taking away from it.

The flower sack in this kit made it fun and easy to make my own embellishment for the page, when paired with the fun brads.

Next, I will share a more subtle side of Soleil. This page is soft and pretty like this girl.

I used a large hand cut pennant to begin my design on this page, using for a base for the whole layout design. I decided to use the envelope as the title inspiration and used it to hold a mini note to my girl.

I used many pop dots on this page to add dimension, including on this die cut.

I layered stickers and chipboard for the title and stitched them down. I added one of the sweet bards on my envelope to give it a sweet girly feel. I also clustered some flowers and a sentiment brad in the corner.

I used the pretty stitched garland to dress up the page a bit more, and added my daughter's initials.
