How to Create a Flowery Hello Card
Start by scoring your card base front at 2 1/2 inches to create and additional fold on the front of the card.
Cut 2 strips from purple Patterns and Solids papers to 2 1/4 x 6 1/4. Adhere to your card front as shown.
Cut 1 strips from purple Patterns and Solids papers to 1 x 6 1/4. Adhere to your card inside as shown. Stamp sentiment and add a fussy cut flower from your “Take Time” papers.
Die cut “hello” from Graphic 45 Patterns and Solids papers and adhere to your card.

Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and today’s post is a gift bag tutorial. Also, I will show you how to make a matching tag. It’s a two-for-one tutorial! And the best part - you can use any paper collection to make your gift bag! However, I will be showing you how to make the gift bag and tag using the Belle Fleur collection by PhotoPlay.
In order to make this gift bag, you will need two 12” x 12” pieces of the same cardstock. Next, you will need one 12” x 12” piece of coordinating cardstock for the trim and handles. Next, select some ephemera from your paper collection to decorate the bag. Finally, you may choose to use brads or glue to secure the handles to the gift bag. Supplies for the tag include small pieces of decorative paper, ephemera, chipboard stickers, and brads.
Gift Bag Cutting Dimensions
There is a full video tutorial below. However, if you wish to cut your pieces beforehand, then follow the instructions below.
First, cut one of the decorative papers to 9 1/2” x 12”. Then, score at 1/2” on the 9 1/2” side and score at 9” and 11 1/2” on the 12” sides. Then, cut the second decorative paper to 11 1/2” x 12”. Score at 9” on the 11 1/2” side and score at 9” and 11 1/2” on the 12” side. These pieces will be the base of the gift bag.
Next, select the coordinating color paper. Cut two pieces to 1” x 12” and use a decorative punch on one side of each piece to create two trim strips. Then, cut two pieces of the coordinating paper to 3” x 12”. Score at 1 1/2” on the 3” side, fold, and glue together. Next, use the decorative punch on both long edges of each piece to create the two gift bag handles.

Creating your Scrapbook Page
Start by scoring your kraft card stock at 6 1/2 inches and fold along score line.
Trim Red Pattern and Solids paper to 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 and adhere to the left side of your page. Cut Life’s a journey paper to 4 1/4 x 8 1/4 and adhere to ride side of your page.
Fold page and add photos that have been matted on the black Patterns and Solids papers to the front of your page.
Add photo and journaling and stickers to inside right page as desired.
Banner cut black patterns and solid paper and place behind journal card and add to top of left page. I added a gold line to the background banner for extra contrast. Add your photo to the bottom of the page.

I’m ReNae Allen, with the FotoBella Design Team. Today’s post is Part 2 of my Stair-Step Card Tutorial series where we will be constructing a “Side-Step” Card.
First, gather your supplies! The list is just below. Next, follow the pictorial tutorial. You will see a series of tiny dots below a photograph. Each dot represents a photo. Just click through the photos at your own pace to create your card!

This is a pictorial tutorial. Each step is illustrated and explained. Navigate through the photos by first clicking on the tiny arrow on each side of the photos. Next, follow the step-by-step directions at the bottom of each photo. Simple, right? OK, let’s get started!
Cutting the Side-Step Card Base
On scoring board, place piece of cardstock measuring 5.5 x 8.5" and Score a line across page at 4 1/4. Next. go to 3.25 " and pencil in a line down from the 5/8" line to the 7" line as shown.
Score the cardstock on the right side of the cut as follows: Score at 5/8", 1 1/4", 2 1/8", 3", 5 1/2" and 7".
Cut the line you just penciled in using a paper trimmer or craft knife
Fold card base as shown. Mountain and valley fold each score line. Use a bone folder and burnish fold on both sides.

Assembly and Embellishment
Use the completed card as a guide when embellishing
Use these tags or choose your own. Embellish with glitter for impact.
Cut this image from the collage page of the Cottage Life 8x8 paper pad. Use the round sticker for the card front. Place it directly over the same image on the patterned paper. Add flowers and fence if desired.
Add the chipboard butterfly to the front of the card on the fence. Adhere the "Cottage Life die cut sentiment to the first step of the card.

Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and I’m back today with a sweet scrapbook layout made with PhotoPlay’s Belle Fleur collection. For this layout, I will use only one of the patterned paper from the collection pack. Then, I will pair it with some solid colors and enhance the design with some embellishments. This is an easy way to use up piece from a collection if you don’t have much left!
Supply List
PhotoPlay Belle Fleur collection pack: This pack comes with 12 sheets of double-sided designer paper and one 12x12 sheet of cardstock stickers.
Stamp Element and Dies Element: These elements are designed to use together. First, stamp the image onto cardstock and then use the die to cut the shape from the paper.
Ephemera: This pack includes 29 pieces of ephemera to coordinate with the Belle Fleur collection pack.
Brads Pack: This pack contains 14 brads of various sizes and shapes, all of which coordinate with the collection pack.
Chipboard Stickers: This pack comes with 20 chipboard stickers that perfectly matches the Belle Fleur paper collection.
The Belle Fleur Layout
For my Belle Fleur layout, I want to emphasize the stamp set from the collection. The darling little dress image is so much fun to use. Here, I added a second layer to the skirt and popped it up with foam tape. Then, I added a row of flat back pearls for added dimension. Throughout the layout, I am using the fancy bracket-like stamp. Doing so will add some black to the page to tie the whole layout together.
Next, I will use several of the Belle Fleur ephemera pieces to decorate my page. This will include the cardstock stickers and the chipboard stickers along the layout. The heart brad looks cute in place of the “O” in “HOME”. Also, I added another brad to the top of the journaling tag to bring more yellow into the layout.
Although quite simple, I think this Belle Fleur layout shows how to easily use the “extras” from the collection. Whether it is the stamp set, the ephemera, or the brads, you don’t always need a lot of the designer paper to create a layout. How to Create a Masculine Card Set

Lets get started by trimming your black Patterns and Solids paper slightly smaller than your card base and adhere to your card base.
Cut a strip of patterned paper and adhere to card. Select large journal card adhere to your card as shown.
Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and I’m back today with my first project using the PhotoPlay Belle Fleur Collection. For this project, I will be making a greeting card box set with four cards. To me, these papers are ideal for card-making, so I wanted my first project to include some fun, yet flat cards. If you’re new to the PhotoPlay paper lines like me, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The cardstock is smooth in finish and rich in color. Additionally, the medium weight of the papers is good for cards, scrapbook layout, or mixed media project.
The base of each greeting card is made with plain 8 1/2” x 11” cardstock, cut and scored to measure 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. I have selected shades of purple and pink to match the collection papers. In order to keep each greeting card flat, I will add interest through layers rather than bulky elements.
The dress die and stamp are so easy to use. Simply stamp your image on the design paper and then use the die to cut it out. I did shape my dress by folding it up slightly and added thin dimensional foam under portions of the dress.
To give the look of dimension, I will use the banner, frame, and journaling card to create the background on my greeting card. Then, The sentiment is lifted with thin dimensional adhesive
Another simple card, using strips of the design paper will give the illusion of depth. Paired with the floral frame and teacup sticker, the greeting card base has a multi-layered look. Then, the chipboard sticker gives just a touch of dimension while remaining flat for mailing.
And last but not least, adding several successively smaller layers of design paper is the easiest way to achieve a dimensional look. For this card, I will use my ticket stub corner rounder for added interest. The chipboard stickers in the center of the card add slight dimension, and the ribbon gives the greeting card some texture.
Inside of the Cards
For the inside of each card, I will use the stamps from the collection and my Graphic 45 ink. Also, I will use elements from the collection pack such as the cut apart cards and stickers to add a bit of decoration. Overall, they’re very plain so the sender can use the cards for many occasions.

The Greeting Card Box
To make the greeting card box, select one of the design papers or a piece of solid cardstock. Then, cut to 9” x 12”. On the 9” side, score at 1/2”, 1 1/2”, 7 1/2”, and 8 1/2”. Then, turn 90 degrees and score at 4 1/4” 5 1/4”, 9 3/4” and 10 3/4” on the 12” side. Fold on all score lines and then refer to the photo below to cut/trim sections from the box. Finally, add glue to the tabs of the bottom section and fold into a box. Repeat with the tabs on the lid. Once finished, add the set of greeting cards to the box.

Also, you might consider adding a belly band to your greeting card box like I did. For this step, I used the 3” strip I cut from the cardstock to make the box. Then, the three stickers give the belly band a bit of decoration. It will easily slide off the box, but also holds the box closed.
Although beautiful, bulky cards are pricey when mailed. The simple alternative is to make your greeting card flat, but layered with various elements from the collection.
