Stamperia Moulds Allow You to Create Perfect Embellishments

embellishments, stamperia, moulds, fotobella

Greetings! It’s Chris again and I am excited to show you how Stamperia Moulds Allow You to Create Perfect Embellishments for your projects. I was so excited to see that Fotobella now has Stamperia Mould available. The Stamperia Hearts and Wings Mould has been a favorite of mine for a while. Just look at all the possible embellishments you can make!

This Mould also creates perfect embellishments to compliment to the Stamperia Clockwise Papers.

Gather Your Supplies

To recreate this Card you will need:

Create your Perfect Embellishment

This part takes a little planning ahead as the moulds take about 24 hours to dry. So I usually make a bunch of embellishments and set them aside for future projects! Creating is easy, just lay out your Stamperia Hearts and Wings Mould. Press your Stamperia Extra Soft Clay into the mould. Let “dry” for about 30 minutes or so (not sure if this is necessary but I always use the time to create more embellishments). Then flip the mould over and lay the embellishments out to dry for 24 hours.

After your embellishment is dry, you can ink, paint, wax your embellishment as desired. For this project I chose a metallic wax. FYI, I do not recommend using water based mists on the dry embellishments as in my experience they became a little crumbly after being misted!

Below, you can see all the details in these embellishments!

embellishments, stamperia, moulds, fotobella

Creating your Card

Start, by cutting the background from your Stamperia Clockwise Papers and mat onto card stock and attach to your card base. Next, attach a scrap of inked corrugated paper to your card with staples. Cut tag from your Stamperia Clockwise Papers and add to your card.

Next, from front cover sheet cut of the paper pad the detail cut the Time is the Time tag and add to your card. Finish you card by adding your Perfect Embellishment!

I hope you are inspired to create with all your Fotobella Supplies.

Simple Stories Vintage Ancestry Journal

Hello my crafty friends, Diane here to share with your my newest design team project. I am so excited to share with you this lovely family vintage journal created with the beautiful Simple Stories Vintage Ancestry Collection.

This collection was made to document your family photos and history, but instead of a mini album I decided to change it up a bit and do a journal. I think it’s perfect to document your thoughts about what family means to you maybe some special times that your family has influenced you or inspired you and then add a few photos to the tag inserts and photo mounts. I hope that you will enjoy this creation and it will inspire you to make a journal of your very own.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Layout

Happy Holiday’s Crafty friends! This month I am back with this layout that I created using 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Shore collection.

layout, 49 and market, fotobella
“Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”

The Layout Beginning

The first step I did was, I brushed on some homemade clear gesso. If you would like to give this recipe a try, here is the tutorial to it. Using my heat gun to give it a quick dry. I adhered it to a 12x12 sheet of chipboard using some double sided tape.

I stenciled onto the layout using a snowflake stencil from The Crafters Workshop using some Finnabair Textured powder mixed with white gesso as well as Lindy’s Stamp gang Magicals in Bayou Boogie Gold.

layout, 49 and market, fotobella

Next step

Next, I used my heat gun to dry where I have stenciled. The step I did next, was to pick out the ephemera pieces that I would be using on my layout from the Vintage Artistry Shore ephemera pack. I then, adhered and layered some of the pieces I picked out. Then, added my photo mat which was also a piece of ephemera, I adhered it onto scrap card board. Next, I added the photo of my 2 year old grand daughter which was taken last Christmas by my Christmas tree.

Last steps

Using a chipboard piece from Scrapaholics, I used Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink and WOW Embossing Powder Iridium on this “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” piece. I adhered it onto the layout. Also, I had this reindeer tag in my stash so I cut off the ribbon and added a pearl from Frank Garcia Memory Hardware Pearls . I added some flowers from Prima Marketing, adding some of those same pearls on them as well. Another item I added to the flowers was Fabulous Fibers (Frosted Halo) from Brutus Monroe. The last item I added to this layout was some Clear Seed Beads randomly on the flowers.

I hope you all are inspired with what I came up with using this collection. So even if you have papers that aren’t Christmas themed, you can definitely transform them to whatever them you want! This was a great challenge for me! Till next time!

Happy Crafting,

Jeanne

Creating a Mixed Media Canvas is Easy with Stamperia from Fotobella

mixed media, canvas, stamperia, fotobella

Greetings, Chris here, and I am back to show your how Creating a Mixed Media Canvas is Easy with Stamperia from Fotobella! Now, I admit that that I discovered Stamperia about a year or so ago and love to collect and play with their products! So I was super excited to see that Fotobella was now carrying their products. Also, I truly have to admit that Mixed Media sometimes scares the dickens out of me! I love the thought of just sitting and creating but am often under-whelmed with my finished project. But Stamperia made it so easy!

The Supplies

To recreate this project you will need the following Fotobella supplies

Other Supplies needed

  • Pallet knife, 8x8 canvas, window die cut, jute, distress ink , honeycomb die, butterfly punch

Creating Your Mixed Media Canvas

Start by covering your canvas with papers from the Stamperia Clockwise paper pad. Ink the edges of your canvas with Distress Inks. Next, lay Stamperia Pendulum Clock with Wings Thick Stencil over canvas. Apply Stamperia Gold Cream Paste onto stencil with pallet knife.

Gently remove stencil and wash. You can see how much impact and dimension the stenciled image added to my mixed media canvas!

Die cut honey comb shapes from Stamperia Clockwise paper pad and add to canvas to add additional dimension. Now, wrap jute around a die cut window (which was inked with distress inks) and add to left side of canvas.

Cut Tag from Stamperia Clockwise paper pad and add to canvas.

Paint Stamperia Carved Shapes for Bordure using gold ink and then distress with distress inks, and add to top of tag.

Finishing Touches

Sometimes its the little finishing touches touches that really “make” the projects. For this project I added 3 little finishes to add extra pizazz to the canvas.

Punch a butterfly from Stamperia Clockwise paper pad and add to window.

Next, add Buttons and More Galore- Desert Sky to tag.

Finally, punch holes along bottom right side of canvas and string jute through the holes.

I hope you are inspired to try your hand at a Mixed Media Project!
