A Father's Day mini album

Hello FotoBella readers! I'm excited to bring to you today a little mini album I made for my husband for Father's Day. I usually make one for him every year. I usually do various pictures of the year from June to June. It has been a great little timeline through the years.

I used the PhotoPlay line This Guy. I just thought this line was so cute with the little bears. I used a cream card stock for the base. I used the paper pack and the ephemera pack, along with some MME wood dots.  However, if I was going to start from scratch to make a second one I would have used a Kraft color. It would have been much cuter. I just didn't happen to have Kraft in my stash.

The finished size is 7.5"x5.5". It holds a whopping 11 pictures in this album. I could have gotten 10-13 more if I did all picture on the accordion fold out, smaller pictures where I used the one large 4x6 photo and added them to the pull out tags in the center. For, me this was the magical number for my album this time.

Sorry for the photo overload! I wanted to make sure you saw everything. And just you know I could easily make a second album with the leftover paper, or a couple layouts. You get two of every paper in the pack.

Thanks for looking! Hope it inspires you to create your own Father's Day gift.

June Graphic 45 Cards & Tags

Today I wanted to share with you the
Graphic 45 "A Children's Hour" 2 Cards & 2 Tags I have designed for the June monthly membership kit!

June is such a pretty time of year, and these cards and tags reflect that.
Each project is completely different, yet are made from the same paper collection

This tag was made using the brand new wider stenciled tags!
You will have the option of making this tag hang from a chain if you wish!
I think you will have a lot of fun with this JUNE kit, as I have incorporated a few different techniques including fussy-cutting to create your own embellishments,  adding flowers and real fabric lace, pearls and even metal to add interest and drama.

To purchase the products seen on these cards and tags, go to our website HERE!

I have lots of beautiful cards and tags planned for you this summer, so enjoy your June kit, and I'll see you next month!

National Doughnut Day

Happy National Doughnut Day from all of us at FotoBella! National Doughnut Day was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served doughnuts to soldiers in World War I, as comfort food to help boost morale. The doughnuts were often cooked in oil inside the metal helmets of American soldiers. American infantrymen were then commonly called "doughboys", which coincidentally is the name of my favorite doughnut shop here in Reno. I know a lot of doughnut shops will be giving out free doughnuts today, so take advantage and enjoy!

I thought it would be fun and extra special to make this quick and easy tag that you can attach to a box of doughnuts for any celebration. Bo Bunny's Forever Young I Want It All Bundle is the PERFECT collection for today, with all of the cute and colorful doughnuts!

I started with the tag that I got from the Noteworthy pack, and inked the edges with Distress Inks (Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon). Then I used the alphas that come in the 12 X 12 Collection Pack to spell ENJOY, and fussy cut the green and blue doughnuts from the back of the "smile" paper. The pink doughnut and green banner also come in the Noteworthy pack, and I just layered them together. Then I used my Ephemera to back the tag with the teal paper, inked the edges with Picket Fence Distress Ink, and tied it off with the the orange ribbon. I also hand-stitched the black zigzag, and wrapped the whole box with pink ribbon before adding the tag.

I hope you get to enjoy some doughnuts today!
