For the Base of the Cards and that huge flower and the little bee;  I used svg files from the SVG kit ‘Cards for Mom’ !

These card bases are Awesome!  The kit comes with Five Cards altogether and are so versatile.

Twines are from Trendy Twine!

All the paper, jewels, 3D cardstock stickers, stamps, stickers, Chipboard stickers, buttons and brads are from Bo Bunny’s ‘Family Is’ Collection!

I also used Spellbinders Lacey Squares for the mat behind ‘Love’ and Sizzix Tim Holtz Honey Comb Embossing folder for B-ee Happy Card.

Inside each encouragement card I placed a liner, decorated and sent a special message to those affected by the tornado in Oklahoma.  You can also send an encouraging card, it’s not too late to get your cards in-you have until June 10th!

Hi Everyone!  KimberlyRae here for FotoBella with another project created with Bo Bunny ‘Family is… Collection’ Bundle!
I’m having so much Fun with all the Bo Bunny goodies in this Bundle and really been on a treat-your-car spree.  First, Mustache Decal and key rings and now these sweet boat shoes to hang in my review mirror!

You might think of ‘baby shoes’ to hang in review mirror but I saw these sweet Boat Shoes from the SVG kit ‘Summer Vacation’ and just had to give them a go!  Anin’t they sweet?!

Rearveiw-Mirror-Shoes4

I’d like to think of these as mine and hubbs happy feet!  See! There’s Mine all blinged out on the left and his retro on the right!  Pretty snazzy, eh?

All together the shoes measure 4″.  Simply alter the  ’Boat Shoe’ file by bringing the boat shoe pieces from SVG kit ‘Summer Vacation’  onto your cutting mat and select all.  Then, keeping proportions  size until the bottom of the show is 4″ from heel to toe and adhere together!  It’s that easy :)

Bo Bunny ‘Family Is…Collection’ has plenty of bling see around the top of the shoe and tossed on the very top, too. Also, I used on the elements from the kits Noteables and make this butterfly shoe lace charm.

I grabbed the ‘hello’ from a  Chipboard sticker peeled off the sticker part and made another charm for a ‘him’ shoe.  Got out some stickers [also in the bundle] and placed inside the shoes for a special message.

My Mind's Eye Remarkable Collection Tag and Tutorial

 Hello Lovelies....

I have a background tutorial for you using My Mind's Eye Remarkable Collection and Tim Holtz technique Dabber Resist from his "A Compendium of Curiosities" book.

This is an easy way to get color onto a tag and to use those great stamps in the collection. Then just use embellishments to decorate. So Fun.

Step 1: Pull out your tag, stamps, White Dabber Paint, Distressed ink and blending tools.

Pick out your stamps that you like use an acrylic block add the white paint to the stamp.
Randomly add the stamps to your tag. Be sure not to press too hard ad it will distort the image.
 Heat set.
Step 2: Adding distress ink to the tag. I am using a seasonal pack and walnut stain for the edges.
Here is how that tag looks with just the seasonal pack of Distress ink.
This is with Walnut Stain on the edges.
Take a damp cloth to remove the color from the white paint resist.
 Step 3: Embellishments-!
Find the Washi tape in green in your bundle.
Fold it over and stick the sticky sides together.

Slip the tape through the tag hole. Punch a hole in the tape and add the brad to the tape.
Find the enamel dots and add them to the centers of the stamped images.
Using the chipboard "Date" piece add it to the tage right under the brad.
Add the multi layered sticker "How Sweet it is to be loved by you" right under the "Date" Chipboard.
Then add "This way for fun" and "Tolken 5 Value" to bottom of tag.

Congrats-! You have created a fun tag for a gift or a bottle of wine.
Wishing you a wonderful Day.

Warmly-
Sarinda

Radical Wood Veneers

The Basic Grey Hipster Collection is an awesome collection.  One of the things that makes it so great are all the fantastic embellishments, one of them being the wood veneers.  They come with the Hipster I Want It All Bundle available at Fotobella.com.

Hipster Wood Veneers

There are a lot of options as to how to use these in your projects.  One fun way is to ink or chalk them.  For my project, I chose chalking inks that matched the color in the collection.  By rubbing the wood words with the ink pads, the color transferred to the wood with just a few coats.

They absorbed the color very easily and came out vibrant and very awesome.

I added some other fun embellishments like twine, the postage stamps, etc.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

Rad Tag and Hipster Layout

If you love Basic Grey then the Hipster Collection is not one to be missed!  Using all the fabulous embellishments, I designed a tag that can be used for journaling and embellishment on a layout.

As you can see from this photo, there were quite a few elements that went into making this tag.  All of these are included in the I Want It All bundle at Fotobella.com

The tag is a very quick and easy project, and I made it with the idea that I would use it on a layout.

And....here is the layout, featuring the tag...oooh ahhh!

I can't say enough, how much I LOVE this collection....it has such a cool look that I just can't stop scrapbooking with it!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are enjoying this collection as much as I am!

Pocket Full of Sunshine Card

The Mint Julep Bundle by Basic Grey might just be the most adorable bundle I have been so lucky to receive yet! The details of this bundle are amazing! It comes with so many embellishments you won't lack for any details for your projects!

Here is my Pocket Full of Sunshine Card

With Zola Sheet, and a stencil, trace out the edges of the card.
Cut it out

Trace a smaller rectangle shape on the Anna Sheet. I made a little detail on the corners.
Cut this out, and use double sided tape to attach it to the card base, centered.

With an oval stencil, trace and cut out an oval from the Marion Sheet.
Cut some detail strips from the Bonnie Sheet and place some under the Anna, and some on top. Place them however you feel.
Attach the oval on top with double sided tape.

With the rectangle stencil, trace around Pocket Full Of Sunshine print in the Snippets book. I cut the rectangle out, but made sure to keep the wavy edges of “sunshine” part.
Using either double sided tape or 3D dots, attach this on top of the oval on the card.

Grab the red flower half circle chipboard sticker and attach on the left side, under the wavy ribbon.

Then place pieces from the Die-Cuts, transparencies and stickers around the bottom right edge of the “sunshine” piece.
Once you get them attached how you like them, add a Bottle Cap Sticker to the top.

And there is your finished Pocket Full of Sunshine Card!
